Two face charges after hockey fight in Lloydminster

Two men have been charged by Lloydminster RCMP after an altercation between parents and referees after a Junior B hockey game.
RCMP responded to reports of a fight at a hockey arena in the eastern Alberta community on Feb. 18. Officers were told two referees were assaulted in the change room by a player’s family members, RCMP said in a Monday news release.
“This type of behaviour has no place in our hockey community,” said RCMP spokesman Const. Michael Hagel in the release. &ld
