Two dead after multiple collisions on Highway 16 east of Innisfree

Two people died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-trailer on Highway 16 near Innisfree Saturday morning, say police.
Two passenger vehicles were involved in a collision in the eastbound lane just before 2 a.m. and were subsequently struck by a semi-trailer travelling eastbound, Vermilion RCMP said in a Saturday release.
The drivers and lone occupants of the passenger vehicles died on scene. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
