Treaty 6, Métis Nation flags to fly permanently at MacEwan University

Treaty 6 Grand Chief Willie Littlechild hopes more public institutions take the lead of MacEwan University to permanently raise the Métis Nation and Treaty 6 flags on campuses across the entire province.
Following a special ceremony at the downtown Edmonton university Wednesday, Littlechild said he also hopes when students enter through the main entrance and see the flags, they take a moment to ask themselves what they can do to help in the reconciliation process.
