Tornado warning ended, severe thunderstorm watch remains

A tornado warning issued for Clearwater County and Ponoka County shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday has ended.
Severe thunderstorm watches remain in effect for parts of central and southern Alberta including Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park.
The storms may create strong wind gusts, hail and heavy rain that could damage buildings, trees and vehicles. Very large hail could also cause serious injury.
There is potential for some of the storms to produce a tornado. Weather alerts will be updated onlin
