Toasty warm: Eskimos help give away donated winter jackets to Catholic students

Edmonton mother Kaw Paw Ta wore a wide grin on Saturday afternoon, a warm winter jacket slung over each arm.
“I feel so happy this year,” Ta said over the din at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School’s gymnasium. Usually, she finds winter clothes for her kids at a thrift store. This year, her two youngest kids, age 7 and 11, will have new winter jackets.
“I’m so happy for my kids. I say thank you so much to the community,” she said.
