Thursday's letters: Toast New Year's at midnight
Celebrating the beginning of the New Year in Edmonton is the one day in the whole year that we are seemingly on Atlantic standard time. Who’s responsible for this nonsense?
In Alberta, the celebration with fireworks should begin at midnight like it does worldwide. Hopefully, clearer heads will prevail in future years.
