Thursday's letters: Reduced RAM tickets would boost crowds

Along with 17,000 others, we visited the Royal Alberta Museum on Family Day. It really is quite splendid but doesn’t the number of visitors on a free day suggest that the normal admission price is too high?
Having spent so much on this wonderful museum, shouldn’t the province be trying to encourage people to visit time and again rather than imposing entrance fees that will barely begin to repay construction costs while keeping regular folks away?
