Art Davison mentions that countries with both public and private health-care services have much shorter wait times than Canada.
On the surface, this might initially seem to be true. But if we look more closely at the U.S., we find that the private system focuses on eye surgeries and other easily treatable conditions, but leaves the more complicated chronic (and hence more costly) health ailments to the public sector. Thu
