Laboratory services are a vital part of health care despite Jason Kenney’s claim that they have nothing to do with healing. They have everything to do with diagnosis and, therefore, treatment.Without lab employees, doctors are just guessing. Anyone on the front lines of health care will tell you that throwing the system into another round of chaos will do immense damage. Patients will pay the price.
