Greenpeace, the David Suzuki Foundation and other groups have demonized Alberta oil while choosing to completely ignore major contributors to climate change in their own backyards.
As Alberta phases out coal-fired power plants, B.C. has ramped up coal production and Vancouver port is now the largest exporter of coal in North America. Most is shipped to China where its consumption contributes to pollution and dreadful air quality
