Thursday's letters: Calling foul on weed-choked sports fields

I’m the director of the Storm soccer program in southeast Edmonton.
Last Wednesday, our game for the U-16 boys Tier 1 squad was moved to a field in Kenilworth. Upon arrival, the field conditions were clearly appalling, so much so that the referee suggested postponing due to the overwhelming number of dandelions and weeds.
