Hot Garbage, Mysticeti: Heavy psych sprinkled with doom — their Facebook event actually says “sprinkled with doom” — Toronto’s Hot Garbage has opened for Ty Segall, Wand and L.A. Witch (yes, there are a few). Basically lots of reverb echo in the guitars with dreamy, eyes-closed, head-sashaying stoner rock moving slowly forward, then culminating in little bursts of electric energy, female and male singing.
