Three month odyssey to save Bobby the stray ends in early morning rescue

Three officers from animal rescue talked to the dog gently.
Two ladies – Donna Sokolik from St. Albert and Michele Johnson from Edmonton – who were following the dog for three months soothed the animal in quiet tones.
On Sunday morning, as temperatures hovered in the low negatives and people cleared their snowy driveways, a tired dog, who had kept the women awake for nearly 90 days and made them drive almost the length and breadth of the city, simply surrendered.
