'This was full out malicious': Home Depot thieves escape by pepper spraying employees, customers

A number of people were pepper sprayed after a theft at a Home Depot in the city’s northeast Monday, said an eyewitness and employee of the business.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, emergency services were called to a Home Depot at 13304 50 St.
James Eherher, an employee at the Home Depot, was helping an elderly customer carry her bags to her car when he heard a commotion off to his right.
Eherher said he saw two males in the cab of a U-Haul in the area of the lumber doors and loading bay. Tw
