The last straw: Restaurants look to ban single-use plastics to cut waste

Local restaurant owners, as well as national chains, are banning straws from their businesses, part of a global move to reduce plastic use and waste.
Chef Paul Shufelt, owner of Workshop Eatery, made the change in his Summerside-area restaurant in January.
