Teenager found safe in north Edmonton after Amber Alert

Edmonton police say a 14-year-old was found safe in north Edmonton about half an hour after emergency officials issued an Amber Alert in what they described as a forced abduction.
Police had issued the emergency alert just after 4 p.m. Friday, saying a potentially armed and dangerous man abducted a 14-year-old girl in Forest Heights.
The alert, which went out via Alberta’s emergency warning system, said the teen was taken in the area of 84 Street and 105 Avenue on Friday at 3 p.m.
