Team Alberta athletes get set for Canada Summer Games

Team Alberta is set to take on the rest of country when the Canada Summer Games begin later this month.
Athletes, coaches and management gathered in Stony Plain Saturday for a final sendoff before the team departs to Winnipeg. The Games run July 28 to Aug. 13.
Former Olympian and Team Alberta athlete Erica Morningstar and Alberta Sport Connection Chair Andrew Ference were on hand to greet the crowd and prepare the amateur athletes for what is to come.
