Syrian refugees adapting well to Alberta, but employment barriers remain: study

Despite being eager to work, a new study says only eight per cent of Syrian refugees in Alberta are employed.
The Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies surveyed 100 refugees who arrived in 2015 and 2016 about their experiences with jobs, language and social connections while adapting to life here.
