Strathcona County, Fort McMurray RCMP smash drug ring

Wood Buffalo and Strathcona County RCMP arrested five people after seizing a significant amount of drugs in Edmonton and Fort McMurray.
An eight-month investigation led to police seizing an assortment of drugs valued at $800,000 in street-level sales, a handgun and $31,100 worth of cash earlier this month.
“This is significant for a variety of reasons, one primarily is the co-ordinated efforts took in this matter to lead to a successful conclusion,” said Strathcona County RCMP Staff
