Stony Plain/Spruce Grove/Enoch RCMP officer awarded for aboriginal, Metis community work

A local RCMP officer is getting national recognition for her work helping youth turn away from a life of drugs and gangs and helping them to set and achieve goals and live their dreams.
Cpl. Kimberly Mueller – who works out of the Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Enoch detachment – was inspired to become a police officer after having one of the first female First Nations RCMP officers as a role model.
