Stabbing at South Campus LRT station platform draws police presence

A stabbing at the south Campus LRT station triggered a massive police presence and delayed commuters Tuesday morning.
Trains at the station were halted and buses were brought in to transport commuters as officers converged on the area, tracking the assailant after the attack just before 8 a.m.
A jacket and backpack sat in a pool of blood behind police tape at the crime scene, on the east side of the LRT platform.
Swarms of commuters were briefly held on the busy transit platform.
