Special delivery: Waste bin distribution begins to 8,000 homes selected for separation trial

The motley assortment of garbage cans that typically line Edmonton’s streets on trash day started to be replaced Monday with black and green bins in 13 communities as the city officially launched its waste separation pilot project.
