Serious crash investigation crosses from Strathcona County to Edmonton

The driver of what police are saying is a stolen vehicle faces possible impaired driving charges after a collision on the Yellowhead on Friday night.
Strathcona County RCMP officers were following a possible impaired driver westbound on Highway 16. Mounties caught up to the vehicle near 17 street and while they tried to pull the vehicle over, the suspect took off at a high rate of speed.
RCMP did not follow the vehicle due to a risk to the public.
