Semi rollover closes highway near Smoky Lake

A semi-tractor rollover closed Highway 831 south of Waskatenau early Tuesday morning.
The tractor trailer was carrying bitumen when it collided with a ditch closing the highway near Township Road 585A to traffic for a number of hours, stated an RCMP news release. There were no reported spills at the scene.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene where the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
