Second grizzly bear found shot dead near Grande Prairie

A second grizzly bear has been found shot dead near Grande Prairie, Alberta Fish and Wildlife Enforcement said Thursday.
The mature male, which weighed around 225 kilograms, was found with a gunshot wound through the chest just off the side of Red Rock Road about 100 kilometres south of Grande Prairie on Wednesday.
In a Facebook post, the government department said the local district office received a call at approximately 3 p.m. from a resident who found the body.
