School boards have until December to submit plans to tap $75-million classroom improvement fund
Alberta school districts have until Dec. 15 to submit proposals on how to spend their portion of the province’s new $75-million classroom improvement fund, Education Minister David Eggen said Tuesday morning.
Eggen made the announcement — along with Mark Ramsankar, president of the Alberta Teachers’ Association, and Thomas Holmes, associate superintendent, Sturgeon Public School Division — at the Sturgeon Heights School in St. Albert.
