Saturday's letters: Take a stand against gas price gouging
The Journal’s July 21 front-page article concerning gas prices in Alberta is highly instructive. Although the data is from Calgary, the situation across the province is similar. The June rate of inflation in Alberta was higher than the Canadian average due in large part to the cost of fuel. The retail markup in Calgary this week was 38.3 cents on a litre of gas.
