Saturday's letters: No answers on city's Valley Line takeover

The city recently announced that it is breaking its 30-year contract with TransEd and will be taking over operations of the southeast Valley line. No explanation as to why the takeover by city officials. No explanation as to what  it will cost the city to breach the contract, and how the "capped" breach of contract damages will be financed.
