Saturday's letters: Bike-lane expansion can't be justified

I am not sure how the mayor can justify his recommendation for a $100-million capital expenditure on bike-lane expansion. If the rationale is the city's commitment to climate change, it is a false economy. A one-hour delay in rush-hour traffic on the Whitemud or Terwillegar will cause more pollution than the marginal climate change of a limited number of users. Read More
