Saturday's letters: Ban pot smoking in public

I am against changing the existing smoking bylaw to include cannabis. Leave the existing bylaw alone, and make a new bylaw which forbids smoking of cannabis in any public place.  
There is no need to have a one-size-fits-all bylaw. Council is wasting time and money on this issue. Cannabis should be treated more like alcohol. I can’t walk down the street with a beer in my hand, and neither should people be allowed to smoke cannabis.
