Romantic Road takes a drive over colonialism in a 1936 Rolls-Royce

Now that all art is political — it always was, actually — you almost couldn’t find a more philosophically evocative film than Edmonton International Film Festival’s opening-night-gala choice, Romantic Road.
The brainchild and six-year project of former Edmonton director Oliver McGarvey, the feature-length documentary is the story of London-based copyright lawyer Rupert Grey and his wife Jan driving — get this — a 1936 Rolls-Royce across Ind
