Reuse Centre celebrates 10th anniversary of turning trash into treasure

The City of Edmonton’s Reuse Centre celebrated 10 years of finding new homes for unwanted items on Saturday. As children made crafts and guests snacked on cupcakes, customers left the store with carts full of items that would have otherwise been destined for the landfill.
The Reuse Centre, 6835 83 St., takes donations of items that are not accepted by other second-hand stores like arts and crafts supplies, office and school supplies and paper and plastic products. Customers
