Residents balk at possible 66 Street closure for Yellowhead freeway conversion

People on both sides of Yellowhead Trail worry closing access from 66 Street when the freeway conversion is completed will create traffic headaches and be tough on local business.
The city is in the midst of planning for the $1-billion freeway conversion, which will eliminate traffic lights and see three lanes of traffic flowing in both directions with an 80 km/h speed limit.
Planning staff sought out feedback for its concept work on the stretch between 50 Street and 82 Street, which includes a
