RCMP, fire crews investigating fire at Leslieville Elks Hall

Leslieville Elks Hall remained smouldering on Saturday night after a fire that started on Friday. Investigators believe the fire suspicious.
Steve Debienne, Regional Fire Chief for the Clearwater Regional Fire Rescue Services, said the building is a total loss, but no one was injured.
“The 43 below wasn’t fun at all,” Debienne said, adding the cold temperatures made it difficult to maintain continuity of the water.
