RCMP engage in standoff east of Lac La Biche

RCMP are engaging in a standoff at a home east of Lac La Biche and Highway 663 after a report of shots fired Sunday night.
Police first sent out a news release just after 10 p.m. Sunday night saying they were on scene at a home in Holowachuk Estates after reports of gunshots. A man believed to be armed has barricaded himself inside the home.
RCMP were still on scene Monday morning.
Police are currently rerouting vehicles leaving Holowachuk Estates eastbound on Highway 663 and northbound on Range
