RCMP deployed for three river rescue calls on the North Saskatchewan River

Stay off the North Saskatchewan River.
That’s the message Rocky Mountain House RCMP are putting out after a third river rescue on the weekend. The RCMP issued a news release stating with the river’s water levels being “extremely high” people should stay off the water until the levels recede.
The International Emergency Response Coordination Centre were called on Saturday after two men capsized a canoe in the North Saskatchewan River near the Saunders Recreation area.
