QEII Highway at a 'stand still' as motorists navigate snowy roads

Traffic on parts of the Queen Elizabeth II Highway was at a “stand still” Sunday afternoon due to snowy conditions, RCMP said.
In a news release, Blackfalds RCMP said the highway’s north and southbound lanes were backed up from Blackfalds (about 20 kilometres north of Red Deer) to Red Deer’s Gasoline Alley. Motorists were asked to take alternate routes.
