Police ruled to have acted reasonably after man's arm broken in 2017 arrest

The province’s police watchdog say officers acted reasonably during a 2017 arrest that resulted in man’s arm being fractured.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) determined an officer used reasonable force while arresting an intoxicated jaywalker after the first game of the Oilers’ 2017 playoff run, a news release stated on Monday.
ASIRT became involved “some time after the incident” when a civil suit was filed against Edmonton police.
