Police provide update in arrest of LRT stabbing suspect

A crime spree in south and west Edmonton that began with a random stabbing at an LRT station Tuesday morning ended with an arrest about 90 minutes later.
Police responded to the South Campus LRT station just before 8 a.m. for a report of a stabbing. As that scene was unfolding a robbery call came in for a nearby convenience store.
A store clerk was assaulted and a car was stolen from a woman in the parking lot, police said.
The man then took off in the stolen car southbound on 111 Street. Emerge
