Police investigating fatal collision on Groat Road Bridge

Edmonton police say Groat Road Bridge will be closed for the next several hours while police investigate a fatal collision Sunday afternoon.
Police say the collision occurred in the northbound lane of the bridge. Traffic is being re-routed back towards the University of Alberta campus. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
Police did not release any details about the crash. More to come.
