Police comb scene after break-in suspect shot in Lewis Estates home

Police were investigating Friday morning after a suspect in a Lewis Estates break-in was shot by an occupant of the home before being taken to hospital with serious injuries Thursday night.
West division officers were called to the 875 Proctor Wynd home at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday after getting a call about a break-and-enter, followed by a shooting, said an Edmonton Police Service news release.
