Playground zone rollbacks to begin over winter school break

City crews will begin ripping out or modifying playground zones over the holiday school break.
City council passed a bylaw Tuesday approving changes to 26 of the more than 400 playground zones across the city in response to resident concerns about newly minted playground zones with 30 km/h speed limits that just didn’t make sense given road design in those areas.
