David Suzuki received an honorary doctor of science degree from the University of Alberta on Thursday June 7, 2018 during the university’s spring convocation ceremonies at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton. Suzuki was recognized for his lifetime achievement in promoting science literacy and education.
