Animethon 25 is being held at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton August 10-12, 2018. Canada’s longest-running anime convention, which started in 1994, continues all weekend. Anime refers specifically to animation from Japan or as a Japanese-disseminated animation style often characterized by colorful graphics, vibrant characters and fantastical themes.
