Paula Simons: Jurist Mary Moreau steps into a new role

Justice Mary Moreau has been busy, these last few days.
Last week, she was in Ukraine, offering counsel and advice to jurists there about how to set up a fair and open court system.
Monday, she was in Grande Prairie, where she admitted a new lawyer to the bar, in both French and English.
Tuesday, she was back in her office on the sixth floor for the Edmonton Law Courts, eager to take up a new role, as chief justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench.
