Panel discussion on owning a restaurant: viable business, or crazy scheme?

Prominent members of Edmonton’s restaurant owners community will be sharing their thoughts on the viability of this industry in a panel discussion on Monday, Aug. 20 at The Marc restaurant (9940 106 St.)
The discussion, being held between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., will focus on the squeeze restaurant owners are feeling from the combined pressure of minimum wage hikes, the recession, increased competition and shifts in the way people spend their restaurant dollars. The event is sponsored by the Ed
