Opinion: Why Alberta must keep funding low-income transit passes

As the provincial government increases their involvement in public transportation both within and between Alberta’s towns and cities, the upcoming provincial budget is an opportunity for them to reaffirm their leadership on low-income transit passes across Alberta after what has been a year of unpredictability and excuses. The tens of thousands of Albertans who rely on these low-income passes deserve predictability in their budgets, and the affordable access to employment, essential servic
