Opinion: Alberta separation would be devastating for the oil industry

One motive for Albertan secession is a sense that Ottawa hasn’t been fair, that the oil industry is shackled, that the wealth it generates is stolen.  If Alberta could ditch the regulations and stop feeding the federal budget, oil would gush and Albertans would benefit.
