Oilers send Slepyshev to AHL for one game

Anton Slepyshev will play in the season-opener, but it’ll be with the Bakersfield Condors.
Slepyshev, who sprained his ankle in training in Montreal before camp opened then came down with the flu last Saturday and missed a chance to suit up for the Edmonton Oilers in their final pre-season game, will get a test run with the American Hockey League farm team for a Friday game in Stockton.
The Oilers assigned the right-winger Tuesday, but it’ll be for a short time.
