Oilers lose final tune-up game to Canucks

VANCOUVER – Any feeling there might actually be some malice between Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks in their final exhibition dress rehearsal because they’ll see other next Saturday here in the second game of the regular season, was a nice thought, but that’s all.
It was pretty much a ho-hummer in the 3-2 Canucks win as both teams tried to get through the game in one piece. There were precious few guys diving to block shots or drilling anybody from behind into the boards
